Très bonne expérience avec Speed Kit !

Le produit est vraiment excellent et améliore nettement l’expérience de navigation. Le site se comporte presque comme une véritable web app avec des chargements de pages quasiment instantanés.

L’intégration s’est toujours très bien passée de notre côté. Lars et Frances sont également très disponibles, réactifs et efficaces pour accompagner la mise en place et répondre aux différentes questions.

Nous sommes très satisfaits de la solution et de l’accompagnement de l’équipe Speed Kit. Je recommande !

What do you like best about Speed Kit?

Speed kit is a form of caching technology that greatly speeds up the responsiveness of your website/webshop, by using a service worker. It caches all static parts of your site, and dynamically replaces dynamic content. This means that the time from clicking something, to something happening, is near-instant.

When shopping online, your tolerance for low speed is pretty low. Something should happen as soon as you click, and with Speed kit, it does!

We are using it for Shopify Plus, meaning it's a hosted platform with limited access to the server, and caching settings. Since it's a hosted platform, we greatly depend on third-party apps to get the functionality we need. This means a lot of scripts and assets needs to be loaded on all pages, and limiting the negative impact of all of these third parties, is very difficult.

Speed kit doesn't fix "everything speed" by just setting it up, but it can make even the most cluttered site feel a lot faster. The team sets everything up for you, and then gradually tests the impact with a limited set of users until the configuration is smooth. (unlike many Shopify apps that just activate themselves upon installation).

What do you dislike about Speed Kit?

We had some issues with caching in the beginning, most likely caused by the unusual link structure in Shopify before Online Store 2.0. After we switched to Dawn and set up Speed Kit again, none of these issues has been present, and the dynamic components get refreshed instantly.

What problems is Speed Kit solving and how is that benefiting you?

Speed kit helps us retain great responsiveness for our webshop, regardless of third-party services negatively impacting our speed. This directly improves visitors session duration, number of items in the carts, and pages per session.
