We had a critical incident where our storefront couldn't process any "add to cart" actions — not just bundled products, but every single product, including single-item carts with no bundle involved. This lasted for 75 hours (Sep 17–20), during which we received zero orders despite normal traffic.
We escalated to Shopify Support, who reviewed platform logs and confirmed the root cause: a version of this app's cart transform function (bundle-cart-transform-rs) that was deployed on Sep 17 failed on every request, and a fix wasn't deployed until Sep 20. Shopify's logs matched our order timestamps to the minute.
What concerned us most wasn't that a bug happened — bugs happen — but that:
A broad, store-breaking failure like this apparently wasn't caught before or shortly after release
We had no way to detect it ourselves until customers started emailing us about cart errors
We only found the cause because we escalated to Shopify support and had them dig through platform logs — not because of anything from the app itself
If you use this app, we'd recommend monitoring your cart/checkout conversion closely after any app update, since a failure here is silent and total.

I’m currently a solo founder handling development, support, and everything else myself. Only Bundles is still being optimized, and unfortunately, this issue was not known to me at the time. I take full responsibility for not catching it sooner.
