LandedLedger

LandedLedger has been a great fit for managing our purchase orders and inventory at a small specialty retail shop.

The ability to create purchase orders both from scratch and directly from a supplier invoice has saved us real time — no more re-keying line items by hand. Checking items in as they arrive is intuitive and keeps our stock counts accurate without extra steps.

My favorite feature is the freight allocation — you enter the freight invoice total, choose how to split it (by value, quantity, or evenly), and it recalculates the landed cost on each item and updates it directly to our Shopify products. I used to do this manually in an Excel spreadsheet, and it was one of the most time-consuming parts of receiving inventory. Having it handled automatically has been a real time-saver!

The expiry tracking feature has also been valuable for us, since we carry a range of perishable products. Being able to see what's approaching its expiration date at a glance helps us manage markdowns and rotation proactively instead of discovering issues after the fact.

There's also a budget analysis feature to track spending across budget categories.

Overall, LandedLedger has streamlined our receiving and inventory workflow considerably. Recommended for any store that needs more than basic stock tracking.
