When you advertise a strikethrough "was" price in the UK, Australia, Canada or Japan, regulators expect you to show the price history behind it. PriceProof records your catalog's offered-price history from the day you install, checks each live was-price claim against a published benchmark for each market you select, and flags the claims your recorded history does not support, with the reason in plain language. Sales can be scheduled ahead of time: you set a sale price with a start and end date in your shop's timezone and PriceProof applies it and reverts it automatically. If you edit the price yourself during a scheduled sale, the app steps aside rather than overwriting your change. Settings (markets and timezone for this app, report branding for the EPR app) can be exported as JSON and pasted into another store, with a preview of the exact change before anything is written. All features are free during Early Access. It is a record-keeping and checking tool, not legal advice.
