About BAIS Bulk Account Invites Send

Easily ensure that all customers have activated accounts. Works for bulk inviting all (or a segment of) past customers. Can also be used to automatically invite all (or a segment of) future customers, when they roll in. Segmenting is based on targeting by tag. And we use the email template for account activations that you've already got set up in Shopify! Note that this supports the easy built-in template, or a full custom HTML template you may want for a fully customized brand experience. Bulk invite past customers, each with their own unique activation link. Auto invite future customers, each with their own unique activation link. Optionally "target by tag", to only reach a desired subset of customers. Show more Show less

Matt was very helpful in getting things setup & answering questions, and when I had an issue with the initial sending with what I would consider a horrible non-receipt rate of emails, he helped resolve the issue and provided a one-time resend of account invites which seemed to do the trick. Shopify Plus includes this functionality upon request and we were spoiled on our first site. We chose this app for out second site which isn't on Plus. Pricing is a total bate and switch. It's based on number of customers you have in your store not on how many invites you send. You can split your list but it won't reduce your cost.

Even with help from their support team and from shopify my clients are NOT getting their invite emails sent. Some are some aren't. It's very frustrating when clients call upset saying they didn't get the transfer information and then I got billed numerous times for this transfer. Great idea but they need to work out some kinks obviously.

Activation links of first invite don't work after sending second invite. This is a limitation of Shopify system it turns out, so if you do send a second set of invites wait a while. Only 3% activation success though I do have a list stretching back.

This app lacks formatting in the email, it just comes through i plain text, and isn't very attractive. it has the same appearance as a regular typed email with no buttons or layout to make it appealing. it does make it simple to compose an email to a large list, but it would be much better if the style and format matched what Shopify uses to send account invites, in order to improve click through...

Useful app.... but what i can see today is that i paid for bulk invitation, and at least 30% of my customer never received the email... that's a shame...
