About SmartCS: Currency Converter

Currency Converter automatically redirects customers to the appropriate currency based on their geographic location and allows them to check out in their native currency. It will also detect your customer's location and automatically switch to your customer's local currency. Aside from that, Currency Converter can round prices using a variety of rules. Shopify's live currency exchange rate is updated on a regular basis. This app performs admirably on PC, Tablet, and Mobile.

2023 Update: We needed some tweaking after a theme update and happy to report great support again from Steve at Secomapp. A great app that bridges the gap between currency detection and Shopify's native local currency checkout. This application altered our sitemap URLs, resulting in 7,268 404 pages. Our site's health score plummeted to just 55. We've attempted to reach out to the app's support team on three separate occasions, but unfortunately, our issues remain unresolved, and we have yet to receive any response.

So far, THIS HAS BEEN A DISASTER FOR MY SHOP!! I previously had a simple free currency switcher but opted for this to deal with geo location issues and tidy the appearance of currency switcher on the mobile view of my site. Terrible app. I installed it 5 days ago and sent them an email requesting to have it installed and still no one has taken the time to take care of this. I uninstalled the app and I will be looking for a better app.
