About Exemptify

Allow customers to validate their EU VAT ID and get tax-exempted in real-time. Add VAT IDs to existing customers from the Shopify Admin. Shopify Plus stores can integrate the validation module directly in the Checkout. Exemptify also facilitates international sales by displaying correct prices based on customer location, so your customers know right away what they will have to pay at checkout. Complies with the new EU distance sales regulations and applies the relevant tax rate immediately.

I had a special request regarding the price settings for the Comparison price, to be different from the settings of the Regular price. Absolutely no service when having problems! Zu der Meldung vom Anbieter als Reaktion auf diese Bewertung: Ja, nicht wir, sondern unsere Agentur war in Kontakt. Und nein, die Rückmeldung oder eine Hilfestellung gab es nicht. WIr haben inzwischen einen Weg gefunden, die Steuerproblematik via Tags und Rabatt zu korrigieren.

It's ok if you only do VAT deduction and your sales strategy is ok with having different total price for every EU member state. So, If you run EU wide advertising (for example finalprice on product X is 19.99 across EU states) then this app will not work as it will require the shopify option "calculate tyxes based on customer location" to be enabled. App is working fine as long as all your customers are subscribed into VIES. If some of them are not, they can't proceed with their purchase which I believe is a strong limitation. They should just go ahead with VAT included, as simple as that
