About FlexScan
Shopify POS only reads one barcode per variant, but most products have multiple codes. Supplier barcodes, internal SKUs, ISBNs, and legacy identifiers all cause failed scans at the register. FlexScan maps any additional identifier stored in product metafields to the correct variant. Staff scan as usual and POS finds the correct product every time.
