About Checkout GST Number Field
Indian stores selling to other businesses need the buyer GST number before the invoice, not after. This app puts a GSTIN field where the buyer already is: inside checkout on Shopify Plus, and on the cart page and drawer on every other plan. The GSTIN and business name are saved on the order, so your invoice app can raise a GST invoice the buyer claims input tax credit on. Premium validates the format, state code and checksum, stops checkout on a typo, and exports B2B orders as CSV for GSTR-1.
