About Picsio: Bulk Image Upload

Together with Pics.io digital asset management (DAM) system, this plugin becomes a quick bulk image uploader! Subscribe to any Pics.io pricing plan and connect your GDrive or Amazon S3 bucket with product photos. Originals stay in your storage. Now, you only need to add SKUs to images’ metadata in custom fields in Pics.io DAM, or in files’ names. The plugin will locate them and match with product SKUs in your Shopify store. The necessary images will be uploaded directly to product variants. I used Pics to upload images for my Shopify store. It works great if the SKU and file name match. It's also super handy for managing product variants. There are tons of options for tagging, editing, and integrating with my Shopify store. Live support is always available and super helpful in finding workarounds for tricky tasks.

We used this plugin to migrate our images to the store. Since we had a lot of them, we needed to upload them in bulk with article matching. This was an impossible task manually. It is not obvious that you need to subscribe to their DAM system. But the tool is handy for what it costs. A special joy that we uploaded everything from our Google Drive.

I used this app to upload pictures for my shopify store. It works well as long as the sku and the file name are the same. It would help if it was smart enough to know if a picture for a product was already loaded. I did find a good work around to create a new collection for each upload. That way you dont have to go through a huge list to filter through products.

This is anything but free. The fact that they want a monthly subscription to upload bulk images is bonkers. I'd pay a one time fee of $50 but these greedy developers want that once a month.. beat it.

Not Free. Please, don't mislead people. Besides, customer service is zero. I could not find a way to contact your customer service.

First the app is not Free. It is a Free trial period. Second It does not bulk import images from Goggle Photo to your shopify site. All images must go to the pics.io site before they can be bulk imported to your site. Yep an extra step that they charge you for. Expensive and time consuming.
