About PreOrder Guard
When a product is about to sell out, PreOrder Guard lets you keep selling against the shipment already on its way. It calculates a safe cap from your own sales history and the incoming quantity, holding back a buffer for supplier delays, so you never promise more units than you can deliver. Preorders run on Shopify's native purchase options, so nothing is written to your theme. If a shipment slips or a cap sells through too fast, the promise is graded at risk before it turns into refunds.
