About True COGS: Cost of Goods Sold

True COGS keeps your cost of goods sold true to what you paid. Receive a purchase order in Shopify, or upload a supplier invoice as a PDF or photo: each unit cost is recorded with its share of freight and duty, and your weighted average or FIFO cost is written to Cost per item. Purchase order prices are checked against your last price. Stock value, margin and COGS use those costs, and each month closes with an inventory valuation. Moved off Stocky? Import its purchase orders with their dates.
