About T: Maintenance Mode

Using an "T: Maintenance Mode" app can display a landing page for your customers during website maintenance or construction, with a "coming soon" timer to notify them when it will be back up. This ensures you don't lose customers. Once live, users receive a customizable notification message, including email templates and settings. This conveys a professional and informative message about your website's status. You can configure SMTP for email sending. Easily you can manage notified customers.

very practical app if you wish to close your store temporarily for some maintenance measures. I was able to set this up with minimal effort and time. I did not venture into designing the message to my site theme, but I guess it would have been possible with some guidance.

worked well on desktop, and showed up on mobile in the theme editor, but customer-facing on mobile my half-created store was live. With no quick to respond support I ended up just using the password protection built in to shopify
