About Threshold AI Accessibility
Overlay widgets promise instant accessibility — the FTC fined the biggest one for it, and they don't fix what's underneath. Threshold is the opposite: it scans your storefront against WCAG 2.1 AA, drafts image alt text you approve before anything is written, publishes a dated accessibility statement, and re-scans on a schedule. Automated checks cover only part of WCAG, and we tell you which part. The result: real fixes at the source and a dated record of the work — not a popup, no promises.
